In this role, you will... 1
- We are responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of our warehouse and shipping team
- Organize and coordinate daily operations in the warehouse, during order fulfillment, and in shipping
- We ensure that our customer orders are processed on time and without a hitch
- Plan transportation and deliveries and coordinate collaboration with freight forwarders and logistics service providers
- Review, improve, and optimize warehouse and shipping processes
- Keep Track of Costs and Key Metrics
- Work closely with Purchasing, Sales, and other departments
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Be willing to pitch in yourself when there are bottlenecks or special challenges
You will thrive in this role if you... 2
- You have completed a training program in warehouse logistics, logistics, or have a comparable qualification
- You already have several years of professional experience in the warehousing and shipping field
- Ideally, you have some initial experience leading or coordinating a team
- You are well-versed in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, shipping, and working with shipping carriers
- You work in an organized manner, take on responsibility, and keep a clear head even in stressful situations
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office and, ideally, already have experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- You have a business mindset and enjoy contributing your own ideas for improving processes
- You're a team player, communicate clearly, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get to work
